3.7.97. Visited the hospital this day. The patients had no complaints to make; the different wards were found clean.

We have this day visited the Tung Wa Hospital and found every place clean and well looked after except the coolies' urinal which lacks disinfectants.
No patient made any complaint.

The Directors are to be complimented on the state of the hospital generally, and it is to be hoped they will soon see their way to converting the remaining Ko Fong wards into more airy and spacious ones.
